FOR PEOPLE WHO TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME

The city has
better plans.

Not another list of places.
A way to find your kind of day.

Follow a local's favourite detour. Record the places you stumble upon. Turn a good afternoon into a story worth keeping.

Find your way

Less planning.
More “let's see where this goes.”

01 / STEP INTO SOMEONE'S GOOD IDEA

A friend in a city
you haven't met yet.

The best plans don't always come from a guidebook. Discover routes made by the people who actually go there.

01

Find the day that fits.

Coffee stops, vintage finds, hikes or a pub crawl. Filter by time and transport, or start with what's near you.

02

Know before you go.

See the stops, travel details and practical warnings. Locals and visitors rate their experiences separately.

03

Leave room for a detour.

Follow the route at your own pace. Check off the places you visit and keep your notes along the way.

02 / THE GOOD PART WASN'T ON THE PLAN

Go somewhere.
Make something
of it.

Start recording before you know where the day will take you. Add stops as you go, leave yourself a note and finish with a route that's entirely yours.

You choose the stops. No background GPS recording.

Took the long way back.”

03 / A BETTER STORY WITH YOUR PEOPLE

Good places
are meant to
be passed on.

More than a photo.

Share the route behind the moment. Add a photo, tag friends and bring your travel notes into a post.

Find your people.

Follow your friends' adventures, make a group or join a route chat. Message requests keep new conversations a choice.

Keep the whole chapter.

Your Journal holds the notes. Your Trips keep the memories. Turn a finished trip or monthly recap into a story to share.

Some stories are for everyone. Some are for friends. Some are just for you.

BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT

Good to know.

A little clarity before a little adventure.

Can I try Crawlist now?+

Crawlist is currently in private iOS testing through TestFlight. This website introduces the experience; a public App Store download isn't available yet.

Who can create an account?+

New sign-ups currently require a university email ending in .edu or .edu.tr. You'll verify it with a six-digit email code.

Are the routes made by locals?+

Both locals and visitors can share routes. Creator labels and separate local and tourist ratings help you understand whose perspective you're following. Crawlist-approved routes have their own badge.

Does recording track me in the background?+

No. You add the places you visit yourself. Location permission is optional for nearby discovery or choosing a stop; there is no continuous background GPS recording.

Can I keep a route or my notes private?+

Choose Public, Friends or Private when sharing a route. Journal notes stay private unless you explicitly share them in a post or as a public stop note.

What about safety and privacy?+

You can block accounts and report content. Chats use encrypted connections, not end-to-end encryption. Authorized moderators can review eligible reported content. Always check local conditions before setting out. Read the privacy and community information.
